STEAM by design was an attempt to introduce Art and Design to educative practices. This was done through various exercises that I conducted along with my peers as part of a college project with various schools in Bangalore. For one such exercise, a prototype was put together specifically for making the concept of reflectivity easier to grasp for children through a fun and interactive game.

 

The game set consisted of small acrylic mirrors, a target, an obstruction and a laser light. The aim was to make the beam reach the target using mirrors when the laser, obstruction and target were fixed.
